A High End Look for a Dollar Tree “Frog” for Cut Blooms

I am still obsessing with a Oui yogurt jar, a Dollar Tree wire canning jar “frog” and wild Chicory blooms. But this morning I dressed it up a bit with burlap trim from Dollar Tree.

I left my cuttings in the sun yesterday and the blooms quickly faded. So this morning I removed the old blooms because I had new ones! Yay!

I used just one section of the burlap trim (1 yard) and hot glued it around the top and sides. It went around three times, covering the lid with even a bit left over.

I think the burlap trim gave it a high end look. It molded easily to the lid with the hot glue and makes it look like it came that way.

How pretty it looks with other glass jars on a window sill!

The reed diffuser is from Dollar Tree.
