SharSum Paint offers custom painting and refinishing services, using Missouri Limestone Paint Company chalk-based paint which we sell in 4 area locations. We work together with our very talented and artistic friend, Michelle Sohn Conrad, to create beautiful and unique one of a kind pieces of furniture. We specialize in taking something old and making it new again.
Do you have an older piece of furniture that needs a new life? Have you inherited a piece that was once beautiful but now needs some help? Did you find a great bargain at a thrift store, on the side of the road, or at a yard sale that had good bones but you need a vision of what it could be and need someone to create that vision for you?
Or maybe you don’t even have a piece of furniture yet, but have something in mind in a specific color? We can try to find that piece for you and finish it, too! Planning a wedding and need an inexpensive vintage prop – all white? We can try to locate that for you, paint it up, and you’ll have the perfect place to put the guest book. We do signs, too! The possibilities are amazing.
Contact SharSum Paint on the form below and we, or Michelle, can work with you to provide the service you need. We also sell items we’ve already found and painted on our facebook site, One of a Kind Redefined. You may find just what you are looking for, ready for the perfect place in your home! You can get a good idea of our work on this site, too. Try searching Sharon Strothcamp Sumner or Michelle Sohn Conrad to see our specific items for sale or that have already sold.
My favorite piece I’ve completed so far is this “Cat in a Hat” chair created out of a vintage captain’s chair. We do have more of these chairs and can create one just for you. They sell for $115.
One of my favorite techniques Michelle has created is something she calls “Vintage Old World Sunset Restoration Hue”. The pieces she redefines with this technique are just beautiful.
To discuss a future project, please fill in the contact form below. We will get back with you within 24 hours to discuss what you have in mind. Thanks!
